Configuration and Setup

The following new features and functionality changes in configuration and the Setup Server are included in AOLserver Version 2.3

New LogQueryOnTclError configuration parameter: This parameter allows you to turn on or off the reporting of form data to the server log when there is an error.	Administrator's Guide: page 69
New MaxCallDepth configuration parameter: This parameter limits the number of nested ADP evaluations, which can lead to crashes.	Administrator's Guide: page 78
New QuotaSize configuration parameter: This parameter allows you to set a quota for the maximum size to which pageroot and its descendents may grow.	Administrator's Guide: page 69
New default for RollFmt configuration parameter: The default for the RollFmt parameter has been changed to specify a 4-digit year rather than a 2-digit year.	Administrator's Guide: page 98
New SkipLocks configuration parameter: This parameter allows you to turn off mutex locking in Tcl interpreters, which increases performance but also introduces some restrictions.	Administrator's Guide: page 59
New SmtpPort configuration parameter: This parameter allows you to specify an SMTP smarterhost. This can be used, for instance, to send mail through a firewall or a private/secured copy of sendmail running as a daemon on your local machine.	Administrator's Guide: page 59
