AOLserver v2.1 now supports "Connection: Keep-Alive" used by some browsers to maintain connections between fetching pages or gif files.
Rather than building database pool connections at server startup time, AOLserver now waits to build database pool connections until the first time the database is accessed. As a result, the Connections parameter for a pool is now used to set the maximum number of connections that can be established at one time, rather than the number of connections to be built at startup time.
