• AOLserver v2.1 now supports "Connection: Keep-Alive" used by some browsers to maintain connections between fetching pages or gif files.

• Rather than building database pool connections at server startup time, AOLserver now waits to build database pool connections until the first time the database is accessed. As a result, the Connections parameter for a pool is now used to set the maximum number of connections that can be established at one time, rather than the number of connections to be built at startup time.
